  • At the beginning of the season Bill Sheridan promised that there would be no zone blitzes where you'd have Osi and Tuck dropping in coverage to cover receivers, TEs, and RBs. And yet that's exactly what we have, Osi and Tuck dropping into coverage. Is it any wonder our sack total isn't what it should be?
  • I'm really at a loss at what is ailing this team right now. The have been mediocre at best at all phases of the game the last few weeks. I don't think the plays called on offense have been bad, but the timing is very suspect. There are times to take shots down the field in the hopes of a big play. It seems as if we are allowing the defense to dictate what we do on offense, rather than play to our strengths, namely power running and play-action. I think our offensive line has been subpar so far, especially in run blocking. When we don't run the ball often enough, the play-action pass does...
  • With our passing game struggling to make plays, I don't understand Gilbride's reluctance to call more wide receiver and running back screens. The Giants were able to score successfully on a quick screen to Manningham in week one, scored on one against the Chiefs with Nicks, and were able to get a big play from Bradshaw against Oakland on third and long. The Giants offensive line is not very big, but they are all young and athletic, and with the passing offense now revolving around quick small recievers who should upgrade the Giants ability to improve their YAC, why do you think we haven't
