McDaniels is a daffy arrogant little punk, thinks he can mind-game players like his hero Belacheat does, by bringing in Brady Quimm to mess with Orton's head, cuz you know Quimm's gonna start noising off after the first interception about how he should start.....weaksauce in denver
Mr Bowlin you have hired the dumbest coach in the NFL! The way that this stupid man treated Peyton Hillis is like Al Davis treated Marcus Allen years ago, and what is sad you let it happen. Hillis was a hard working kid that busted his butt for the Broncos and you and this moron coach dumped on him. I am Happy that Hillis is on a team where he can and will play. Mr Bowlin I have been a Bronco fan since Elway, but you have lost me as a fan untill you fire this moron and hire a quality head coach.
This a weird season to be a Broncos fan. Thank God I no long live in that media market!!! I get the sense that the recent adversity has set off celebration among some of the faithful...! Only in Denver could a vocal part of the fan base and media take pleasure in losing. But I guess if you threw all your eggs in the McDaniels is an idiot and Orton is an invalid basket, the return to earth has some ego stoking advantages. Go Broncos...the future is bright under the new leadership...even if the Broncos can't be totally reshaped in one offseason!!! I'm as optimistic as I've been in a decade!!!
I'm impressed with what Xanders has done so fast in his job of signing players with one hand tied behind his back. The Broncos have some of the most dead money contracts in the NFL. They're paying and counting Keary Colbert's contract still along with many others. It's just amazing how Xanders has been able to sign free agents like Dawkins, two first round draft picks, along with the 40% roster turn over with such limitations.
I'm so impressed with what Mr. Bowlen has done and we are blessed to have free-agent acquisitions in both the coaching staff and players such as Brian Dawkins, Mike Nolan and of course Josh McDaniels. It's fun to see the MSM eating their words and looking like the fools they really are. It's like Rudy Tomjanovich once said: don't underestimate the heart of a champion. We've got a champion's heart and the entire league will see it for themselves. Of course, first on the agenda: embarrassing the Steelers Monday night!
I thought at the beginning of the season the broncos would end up without 6-8 wins I did not account for future COY Mcdaniels, or DPOY Elvis Dumervil. I am so happy that McDaniels is coaching this team the way every team deserves to be coached, and every fan deserves to enjoy. (except for the Chargers and Raiders, those teams and there fans should forever be saddled with the worst coaches money can buy...Mangini and Cable)
Very first Broncos shout out on NFP! So glad Bowlen is a great owner who makes good decisions with front office hires. I'm also especially glad McDaniels listened to Belichick (unlike Mangini) and stayed 1 extra year preparing to be a head coach. He gives us Broncos fans a reason to be excited for the future in Denver. I thought we'd have 8-10 wins this year, and he has Denver on track to exceed that by a few.
